Parras Wines is the project of Luis Vieira, who started the company in 2010. Luis' involvement in the wine business stretches back much farther, to the age of 5, when he fell into a vat of wine his grandfather made. So began his lifelong involvement in the wine trade. Today, Parras Wines operates vineyards and wineries on its own and in partnership with local producers from Lisboa, Dão, Douro, Vinho Verde, Tejo, Alentejo, and the Setubal Peninsula.

Evidência is a blend of Alfrocheiro and Touriga Nacional grown in the heart of Portugal's Dão region. The grapes were fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the fresh fruit flavors of the wine. Bright red fruits and a mineral undertone shine through in this refreshing, medium bodied wine that wonderfully represents the drinkability and value of Portuguese reds. Pair with spicy grilled chicken dishes and marinated vegetables.
