Domaine de la Charmoise was founded in 1850 by the Marrionet family in the forests of La Sologne in Touraine. Here, Jean-Sébastien Marrionet has been working the 150 acres of vineyards since he was 10 years old, farming Gamay, Côt, Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc. In keeping with the traditions of his father, Henry, the vines are farmed without the use of any chemicals and the wines are made without any oak.

The wines crafted at Domaine de la Charmoise are fresh, bright and full of energy. This 100% Gamay is as refreshing a red wine as you can find, with lots of bright red berry fruits. We recommend putting a slight chill on it, especially in warmer months. This Gamay is an extremely versatile food wine, able to pair with anything from fuller-flavored fish to barbecued meats.
