Domaine Corsin is now in its fifth genration of family leadership which began in the late 19th century. The Corsin family has always been one of the highest quality producers in the south of Burgundy, creating some of the most outstanding Chardonnay's in the region from the communes of Davayé, Fuissé and Solutré. It would not be a stretch to say that their wines set a benchmark that others measure themselves by. The estate consists of 13.6 hectares of vines planted in the appellations of Mâcon, Saint-Véran, and Pouilly-Fuissé. All of their production is dedicated to the Chardonnay grape.

Corsin's Saint-Véran Vieilles Vignes is 100% Chardonnay from 40 year old vines grown in clay and limestone soils. The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented in temperature controlled steel vats. After 8 months of ageing in 35% oak barrels and tank, the wine is blended and bottled. Flavors of white flowers and stone fruit interplay with a subtle vanilla toast undertone. The wine is full bodied with a creamy texture and round, expansive mouthfeel.
