Domaine de la Bregeonnette is located near the town of Vallet in heart of Muscadet in the Loire Valley. In the 1960's Joseph Orieux began farming organically, and his grandson Stéphane (who now runs the domaine) took his lead in pioneering organic winemaking in the region. The domaine is one of 12 certified organic estates in all of Muscadet. Stéphane is now one of the denizens of organic farming in Muscadet, a source of inspiration and information for many farmers in the region. His wines are known for the varietal precision and elegance.

Domaine de la Bregeonnette's Muscadet Sèvre et Maine is made from 100% Melon de Bourgogne that is hand-harvested and fermented with native yeasts. The wine is light in body and color with a razor sharp acidity. Wonderfully textured with salty mineral flavors alongside notes of fresh citrus and white flowers that blast into a refreshing, energetic finish. Pair this with raw oysters or goat cheese.
