Flavia Wines is owned and operated by the sister/brother team of Flavia and Giacomo Rallo, the fourth generation of the Rallo family to farm the same lands as their great-grandfather did in 1860. The siblings practice sustainable, organic and non-invasive cultivation and winemaking using a blend of the past and the present to craft native Sicilian wines. (Carricante, Grillo, Catarratto, Nerello Mascalese, Nero d'Avola, Frappato and Perricone) All work in the vineyards, including harvest, is performed manually.

The Flavia Taillè rosso, a 50/50 blend of Frappato and Perricone, pours a deep ruby red in the glass with a purple tinge. Just a gentle swirl releases mouthwatering aromas of dark berry and stone fruits mixed with notes of anise and cracked clove. On the palate, this light-bodied red is fresh and fruity; soft, but well-structured. The finish is bright and refreshing. You can enjoy this rosso slightly chilled on its own, though will be equally delicious with a charcuterie board or creamy chicken and pesto pasta with tomatoes.
